Hi, it's been a long time since I've lurked around here. I found your question interesting.
To me, now this is just my 2 cents -
Preppers are those (like myself) who "get ready at home", they save, organise, educate, stockpile, make ready their homes and themselves for whatever 'may come'.
Survivalists (again JMHO), "do", they practice, prepare, experiment in the scenarios they think might actually occur. They campout, condition themselves, practice killing and butchering, they go fishing and trapping. They actually LIVE a homesteading lifestyle (even partially) they garden, preserve, and are
way more self sufficiciant than they want us to know they are! They do all the things that we
all 'should' be doing! LOL.

They are what I dare to dream to be in about a yr from now *sigh*

Voluntarily - of course - not because I have to!!!!
