I've been reading a few articles lately about "preppers" being more mainstream than survivalists.

How do you all draw the line or is there really no difference?

Have a good day!

So if I carry on my own discussion in here,
what that be considered self sufficient?

:wink5:

Have a good day!

Hi, it's been a long time since I've lurked around here. I found your question interesting.

To me, now this is just my 2 cents -

Preppers are those (like myself) who "get ready at home", they save, organise, educate, stockpile, make ready their homes and themselves for whatever 'may come'.

Survivalists (again JMHO), "do", they practice, prepare, experiment in the scenarios they think might actually occur. They campout, condition themselves, practice killing and butchering, they go fishing and trapping. They actually LIVE a homesteading lifestyle (even partially) they garden, preserve, and are way more self sufficiciant than they want us to know they are! They do all the things that we all 'should' be doing! LOL. :blush2:

They are what I dare to dream to be in about a yr from now *sigh* :yesnod: Voluntarily - of course - not because I have to!!!! :-D

Hi BM,

Thank you for the reply. I'll have to remember that.
