Anti-Virus programs:

Norton 360 ver 2

or

Avanquest System Suite 8 Professional?

Anybody have experience with the above mentions?

Any others?

Just use linux. No virus out there that affects linux. Something like a total of half dozen linux worms but I've never had one and couple detection programs if you are really worried.

Big reason I went to linux some years back, just lot less hassle keeping it clean. I frankly hope it never becomes very popular for desktop systems cause as a minor segment of market, nobody writes malware to affect it.

I like AGV myself. I've been running it for a couple of versions now.

If you don't mind paying for it, ETrust is about as good as it gets, IMO. $80 for the full suite though.
